Clubhouses are a place for people with mental illness to heal and rebuild productive lives in a safe, respectful environment. The Clubhouse Model, created by the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICC), is the basis for more than 400 programs in 32 countries around the world and has assisted over 50,000 men and women with mental illness.
Massachusetts alone has over 30 clubhouses; Rhode Island now has Harbor House.
