Harbor House is a rising organization in Providence, Rhode Island that aspires to be an International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD) certified clubhouse. The function of an ICCD clubhouse is to give people with mental illness a place to belong and a place where they actually feel like they do belong. Clubhouses aim to rehabilitate those living with mental illness by helping them get the tools necessary to lead productive and fulfilling lives as a member, not a patient, of society.

Harbor House is a non-traditional, recovery-driven clubhouse dedicated to working alongside members, not patients, living with mental illness. Our mission is to provide members with meaningful work in a welcoming, inclusive and transparent environment. Together, we aim towards improving the quality of life for our members and eliminating the stigma against mental illness.
